Frequently Asked Questions

1. I need to make a Return

To make a return please call us first to obtain an authorization. You may call us Toll Free at 1-877-723-2660 to verify the return. Items must be then packaged and returned in new condition (how you first received them) and packed securely in their original packaging. PLEASE make sure to include contact information with your return. Packages must be prepaid, we will not accept C.O.D. deliveries. Upon arrival you should receive either an email containing information about the return or a phone call. The paying credit card will be issued a refund of the original amount paid (shipping costs for returns will NOT be refunded.) A 15% restocking fee will be applied for all refused shipments.

2. I need to Exchange an item

If you received an item in error or something simply does not fit and you would like to exchange it for a smaller or larger size please call us for availability. Please remember that exchanges must be made within 30 days of shipping date and we will only accept the item if it has not been used.

3. Is my product under warranty?

Yes, Discountlifejacket.com and the retail store front are authorized dealers of every product we sell. Every product sold is covered under the manufacturer's warranty. If you have a question about a warranty on a particular item please contact us.

4. Is my information secure when placing an order?

YES! At Discount Life Jacket.com we ensure a very high level of security while you shop online. Our shopping cart is encrypted with 128bit secure encryption software (SSL). This software encrypts all information entered so that no one may access or retrieve your information.

Also we will NEVER give out, sell, or trade your personal information with any other company under any circumstances. We wouldn't want someone doing that to us, so why do it you? All information is for our use only and will never leave our hands.

5. What are my payment options?

We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, Discover, Mastercard, and American Express. We also now accept Paypal.

6. Where the heck is my package?

Orders placed before 2PM Pacific Standard Time will normally ship the same day. We don't charge that extra "rush my order" fee because all orders should be rushed no matter what so you get your product in a timely matter. However orders that are placed on weekends and Holidays will not ship until the NEXT Business day (Monday-Friday). Most orders within the United States will arrive within five (5) business days unless something is out of stock in which case we will contact you with your available options. We also sometimes have to have the manufacturer ship an item directly from their warehouse which could possibly take a bit longer than normal. Every purchase will receive a tracking number through the respected courier.

7. I do not live in the United States, will you still take my order? (International Customers)

Yes. We ship to the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Korea (South), Kuwait, Mexico, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Virgin Islands.

Please be aware that while you are checking out you will need to contact us via email or telephone for a proper shipping quote. No charges will be made until we both agree on a shipping method and quote.

All prices are in United States Dollar (USD) and your card will be charged in that way; you are responsible for knowing your current country's exchange rate. If the billing and delivery address do not match, your order may be denied. In this event you will need to provide a telephone number to the issuing credit card agency for verification.
